What happens if someone in my party tests positive for Covid-19?
If someone due to stay in the Blacksmith’s Cottage receives a positive test, you would be offered to defer your holiday to alternative dates (with any difference in holiday cost due), or you can request a refund (less £35 admin fee). Evidence of a positive test would need to be provided to Lyme Bay Holidays. These options would not be applicable if the positive test is within 2 days of the holiday start date.
What if there is another lockdown, or tier/travel/household restrictions prevent the holiday from taking place?
If Government restrictions prevent the booking from proceeding, you would be offered to defer your holiday to alternative dates (with any difference in holiday cost due), or you can request a refund (less £35 admin fee). Lyme Bay Holidays reserves the right to interpret the rules in place and their decision will be final.
What if someone in my party is asked to shield?
If someone due to travel is being advised to shield, whilst this could take place in the property itself, with the agreement Lyme Bay Holidays can defer your holiday. Evidence of shielding would need to be provided. The option to defer would not be applicable if this is within 2 days of the holiday start date.
What if we have not been vaccinated before travelling?
At the moment there is no guidance to suggest that guests will need to be vaccinated in order to take a holiday within the UK. What if I do not feel safe to travel?
